SWANA Southern New England Chapter’s goal is to improve the practice of environmentally and economically sound integrated solid waste management in New England.

Northeast Recycling Council (NERC)

NERC’s mission is to promote sustainable materials management by supporting traditional and innovative solid waste best practices, focusing on waste prevention, toxics reduction, reuse, recycling and organics recovery.

Product Stewardship Institute

PSI is a national, membership-based nonprofit committed to reducing the health, safety, and environmental impacts of consumer products across their lifecycle with a strong focus on sustainable end-of-life management. Headquartered in Boston, Mass., PSI takes a unique product stewardship approach to solving waste management problems by encouraging product design changes and mediating stakeholder dialogues.

RIEEA promotes high quality environmental education throughout the state to increase environmental literacy of all children and adults.
