No one knows your residents like you do. Resource Recovery encourages municipalities to implement local programs that help residents recycle right, reduce contamination, prevent waste, reuse materials, and dispose of waste properly. When funding is available and approved by our Board of Commissioners, a competitive, matching grant program is open to RI municipalities. Project-based grants are offered in the form of dollar-for-dollar matches, dependent upon the meeting schedule and approval by our Board of Commissioners. The FY20 grant period for project-based grants is now closed. The first project-based grant application round of FY21 will be announced soon, with the estimated due date being in July 2020. Training-based grants for up to $2,000 per municipality, per fiscal year are also awarded on a rolling basis.
