Rhode Island Credit Union will hold a free Community Shred Day at the Cranston Branch, 860 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Everyone, including RI Credit Union members and non-members alike, are invited to take part in the event. Shredding is available for personal documents only – no business or commercial shredding.  To best serve all attendees, a maximum of 4 bags or boxes will be accepted.

Shredding: Burrillville (RI Credit Union)

Rhode Island Credit Union will hold a free Community Shred Day at the Pascoag Branch, 60 North Main Street, Burrillville, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Everyone, including RI Credit Union members and non-members alike, are invited to take part in the event. Shredding is available for personal documents only – no business or commercial shredding.  To best serve all attendees, a maximum of 4 bags or boxes will be accepted.

Fall Recycling Day (Newport)

The City of Newport invites residents to attend their annual Fall Recycling Day. This event coincides with an Eco-Depot and IndieCycle collection. As part of the event, the City is hosting a Bulk Amnesty day (appointments required) and rigid plastic collection (appointments not required). Resource Recovery to Host Eco-Depot Collection in Providence on July 20

JOHNSTON, R.I. – Protect your home and help to create a safer Rhode Island for all residents by attending the upcoming Eco-Depot collection – hosted by Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (Resource Recovery) – on Saturday, July 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Providence Department of Public Works located at 700 Allens Ave. in Providence. This Eco-Depot is available free of charge to Rhode Island residents only, and to help reduce time spent in line, appointments should be made in advance.
