The Town of Smithfield is pleased to announce a Recycling Collection Event for Smithfield residents on Saturday, March 14th, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Bring mattresses and box springs for recycling (by appointment) sensitive documents for shredding (4 banker box limit) electronic waste ($10 fee required for laser-jet printers and appliances with Freon), and rigid plastic recycling. These collections are open to Smithfield residents only, proof of Town residency is required.
