Recycling Event: Drive-Thru/Drop Off (Narragansett and South Kingstown)

ATTENTION

Please be advised that as of April 8, 2024, several Resource Recovery operations will be moving from 65 Shun Pike to 3 Shun Pike. The operations that are being relocated include the: Residential Recycling Area (formerly known as the Small Vehicle Area), Small Vehicle Transfer Station (formerly known as the Tip Facility), Mattress Recycling Building and Maintenance Garage. Narragansett Department of Public Works, 260 Westmoreland St.

The Town of Narragansett and South Kingstown invite residents to a Recycling Event on September 19 from 9AM to 12PM (face covering is required). The event will be held at the Narragansett Department of Public Works located at 260 Westmoreland St.

Materials accepted include: paper for shredding (3 box limit), electronics (computers, printers, monitors, TVs, anything with a plug), Freon appliances ($10/unit), and alkaline batteries (i.e. AAA, AA, D, C, and 9 volt only). No household hazardous waste will be accepted at this event. For more information visit: www.narragansettri.gov
