Please be advised that as of April 8, 2024, several Resource Recovery operations will be moving from 65 Shun Pike to 3 Shun Pike. The operations that are being relocated include the: Residential Recycling Area (formerly known as the Small Vehicle Area), Small Vehicle Transfer Station (formerly known as the Tip Facility), Mattress Recycling Building and Maintenance Garage. Environmental Police Officers from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s (DEM) Division of Law Enforcement (DLE), Rhode Island State Fire Marshal's Bomb Squad, and West Marine will hold a free expired safety flare collection event at the West Marine, 91 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4th. Boaters may bring their expired flares to this West Marine location for free proper disposal.
