Recycling Event: (Narragansett and South Kingstown)

ATTENTION

Please be advised that as of April 8, 2024, several Resource Recovery operations will be moving from 65 Shun Pike to 3 Shun Pike. The operations that are being relocated include the: Residential Recycling Area (formerly known as the Small Vehicle Area), Small Vehicle Transfer Station (formerly known as the Tip Facility), Mattress Recycling Building and Maintenance Garage. Narragansett Beach North Pavilion, 77 Boston Neck Road (Town Beach)

The Town of Narragansett and South Kingstown invite residents to a Recycling Event on April 23 from 8 AM to 12 PM. The event will be held in the Narragansett Beach North Pavilion. Materials accepted include: paper for shredding, electronics (computers, printers, monitors, TVs, anything with a plug), clothing, textiles and scrap metal (see Narragansett Recycling Website for more information). This event is for Narragansett and South Kingstown residents only. Residential document shredding, no business shredding.

An Eco-Depot for Household Hazardous Waste will be happening concurrently. For more information on the Eco-Depot Event visit http://www.rirrc.org/node/1007
