Easton's Beach, 175 Memorial Boulevard, Newport   The City of Newport Public Services Department is sponsoring a shredding event on May 19th from 8 AM to 12 PM at Easton’s Beach, 175 Memorial Boulevard. This event kicks off a week-long food drive. The City is asking that residents please bring a non-perishable food item for the “Fill-A-Public Works Truck” Food Drive to benefit the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center Community Food Pantry and any sensitive paper documents to be shredded. No commercial businesses, magazines or newspapers accepted. This event is open to Newport residents only (please bring proof of residency with you to the event). Note: This is a third-party event.
