No one knows your residents like you do. Resource Recovery encourages municipalities to implement local programs that help residents recycle right, reduce contamination, prevent waste, reuse materials, and dispose of waste properly. When funding is available and approved by our Board of Commissioners, a competitive grant program is open to RI municipalities. Project-based grants applications are accepted twice per fiscal year and training grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis, both dependent upon the meeting schedule and approval by our Board of Commissioners.

The FY22 grant application period for project-based grants is now open. There is $75,000 of grant funds available in FY22, with grant applications due on July 21, 2021 and February 23, 2022 for tentative Board review in August and March, respectively.
