Fall Recycling Day (Newport)

Please be advised that as of April 8, 2024, several Resource Recovery operations will be moving from 65 Shun Pike to 3 Shun Pike. The operations that are being relocated include the: Residential Recycling Area (formerly known as the Small Vehicle Area), Small Vehicle Transfer Station (formerly known as the Tip Facility), Mattress Recycling Building and Maintenance Garage. Easton's Beach, 175 Memorial Boulevard, Newport

The City of Newport invites residents to attend their annual Fall Recycling Day. This event coincides with an Eco-Depot and IndieCycle collection. As part of the event, the City is hosting a Bulk Amnesty day (appointments required) and rigid plastic collection (appointments not required). Both of these collections are open to Newport residents only. Proof of residency is required. Click here for all of the event details.
