Announcing the National Yellow Pages Consumer Choice and Opt Out Program

posted: Wed, Oct 26, 2011

Are you tired of new phone books piling up in the mail?  Do you tend to look up numbers online or even by using your phone? Do you find yourself looking at another phone book and saying "What a waste"?

We've got some good news. Yellow Pages is now offering a national consumer choice and opt out program for its directories.  Here's how you can choose what you receive, and what you don't!

  1. Visit: http://www.yellowpagesoptout.com/
  2. Register for free. An email will be sent to you containing your password.
  3. Retrieve your password from your email and use it to log back in to http://www.yellowpagesoptout.com/
  4. Change your preferences for copies of each directory you'd like to receive (there is an option to opt out of all of them).
  5. Save and confirm changes.

Waste reduction mission complete.
